Grace Condon is a comedy writer and drag king living in Los Angeles, California, which is either very impressive or a cry for help.

Born in Chicago and raised in San Diego, they have all of the constant apologizing of a midwesterner combined with the affinity for flip flops and weed brownies of a Californian. After surviving eighteen years of being the loudest tap dancing extrovert in a family with five math-prone introverts, they went to Boston University where they froze their toes off for four years while running their satirical publication, The Bunion.

They eventually made their way back to the west coast, and have been a writers assistant on Netflix’s Mr. Iglesias, Atypical, My Life With the Walter Boys and ABC’s Not Dead Yet. Despite working on a puppet baking show at the Jim Henson company, they are completely and utterly incapable of cooking anything remotely edible. Other relevant accomplishments include being a runner up in Socal Boyfriend: Long Beach’s premier drag king competition and being ranked number three in their grandma’s list of top grandchildren.

In both writing and drag, their work is wild, witty, and stupendously stupid. Themes in their work often include found family, intergenerational relationships and self love. They strive to tell laugh out loud stories with a lot of heart and a touch of madness. While some of their work is zany and out of this world, it is all grounded with an underlying relatable emotional foundation.

Their goals are to continue to write, direct and perform on a professional level.  They also want to have a perfect workout routine, never eat gluten, boast a fabulous relationship on social media, and have interesting hobbies that everyone wishes they had time for, all while hosting perfect social gatherings.
